There is two sizes available of this metal jig for wooden Arrows, consisting of a 13/32" (just over 3/8") or 1/2" diameter hole designed for the larger Medieval style shaft, 2 slots of varying depth are provided to be able to cut a long slot for the horn insert and one shorter slot to cut the string groove, a threaded hole with a nut in place allows you to securely hold the shaft in place, flattened sides at the bottom of the tool allow for secure placement in a vice or work bench, please see the video (shows previous shape, action is still the same) for info on how to use the item.
